Autumn Placemats

On Friday we went to the park to find leaves to use for a placemat. We let them dry for a few days and then this morning we put them on contact paper to make a placemat. I am not sure how they are going to hold up, but we had fun making them. In December I am going to have the kids make snowflakes and do the same thing with them.

Love love them, the key to art projects with leaves that don't decompose is to dry them ahead of time in books. But these should last for awhile, the leaves will just break down over time! Great idea mama.

Your such a good Mom Sarah, I can remember doing all kinds of fun stuff when the boys were little.
